History--North Peninsula Neighborhood Services Center Inc. was formed in 1967 by South San Francisco neighborhood residents concerned about providing information and referral services to the community.

Formally incorporated in 1973 as a 501(c)(3) community-based organization, the agency began providing a variety of services to needy families in San Mateo County. 

 During the past 25 years, as the needs of the community changed, so did our agency. Today, we provide a variety of programs that directly assist seniors, families with children, and individuals who are in need of a helping hand.
